“Students at my school organized a “Yay Gay Day” to show their support for a student who was told her “Yay Gay LGBT” t-shirt was inappropriate. Students wore t-shirts, buttons and stickers and peacefully gathered to show their support! It was such a positive and successful event. They say one way to end bullying is to take away the power of the bully. By showing our strength in numbers, we did just that!!”
